In a strategic move to strengthen industry relationships and enhance travel experiences, The Travel Corporation Tour Brands recently hosted an exclusive gathering of travel professionals against the stunning backdrop of Alberta’s most iconic destinations. The inaugural TTC Tour Brands Advisor Alliance brought together 20 elite travel advisors for an immersive week-long summit that combined business innovation with wilderness adventure.

The October summit, held in partnership with Travel Alberta, took participants on a journey through the region’s crown jewels—from the urban sophistication of Calgary to the pristine wilderness of Banff National Park and the mirror-like waters of Lake Louise. While mornings were spent discussing industry trends and marketing strategies, afternoons included hiking through Banff’s dramatic landscapes or exploring Calgary’s vibrant streets.

“We’re creating a more collaborative approach to travel planning,” said Melissa DaSilva, interim CEO of TTC Tour Brands. “By bringing advisors into the conversation early, we’re ensuring that our offerings truly reflect what travelers want and need.”

The summit included innovative sessions where advisors could step into the CEO’s shoes, providing fresh perspectives on industry challenges and opportunities.

Ryan Elliott, Managing Director-USA at Travel Alberta, emphasized the strategic timing of the event, highlighting Alberta’s appeal during the fall season.

“There’s something magical about Alberta in autumn,” he noted. “When travel advisors experience firsthand the crisp mountain air, the golden larches, and the quieter trails, they can authentically share these experiences with their clients.”

The summit represented more than just a business meeting; it was a testament to the evolving travel industry’s focus on authentic experiences and collaborative planning.
